The Colorado Avalanche announced that forward Jonathan Drouin will miss the entire first-round series against the Winnipeg Jets with a lower-body injury.
Drouin went down with a non-contact injury in the final game of the regular season. Beyond being stated to be a lower-body injury, this is the first update the team has given.
The 29-year-old has 19 goals and 37 assists for 56 points in 79 games this season, primarily playing at the left wing on the Avalanche’s top line.
